Restocking the Sake

A back alley in Nakano...the man seems to be shuttling bottles between two related restaurants (or maybe they have an arrangement to loan each other alcohol when needed). The smoke is from yakitori and yakibuta cooking over open flames. "Tori" means chicken and "buta" means pork. I once stopped by the shop in the afternoon while they were preparing for the dinner crowd (and took an unremarkable photo).
