A boy sampling steamed chestnuts from a sidewalk vendor. I took this shot yesterday -- we went out to Yokohama to celebrate my wife's birthday.

I'm back online after a long break. We're settled into our new place near Takao Station. It's beautiful here. The Cherry trees should start blossoming next week, and then it's going to be amazing. I'll show you.

    The cherry trees are about to blossom here as well and it is my favourite moment in the year: nature just about to blossom everywhere. How exciting!

  • one of the happiest times of my day are when i look at your beautiful photos. the cherry blossoms are also in bloom here in vancouver, canada. i am heading over to tokyo the third week of april to visit a friend and hope that the trees are still in bloom!!
