Mari Singing Ponyo with her Sock Monkey

Posting videos of my kids singing is pure self-indulgence. I’m hope you’ll enjoy it as least halff as much as I do. Anyone who lives in Japan doesn’t need an introduction. For everyone else, Ponyo is the hit song from the hit animated movie of the same name.

I love it! Great job, Mari! (and good choreography, monkey!) It sort of reminds me of “It’s a Small World, Afterall” in its repetitiveness!

    Hi Andy!

She sings in tune and she has the sense of rythm… and she is so cute! Thanks for posting Mari’s song.

She is SOOOOOOO good! How old is she? 4? 5? Super talented – not many kids can just sit and sing for two minutes straight, and her pitch was near perfect. You should be very, very proud of her. (And I would get a professional piano teacher for Reia if I were you – all of your children have a great sense of rhythm)

  4. Andy says:

Thanks, that’s encouraging (my musical talent is so bad, but I do love music). We’re hoping to find a good teacher for Reia (I can hear her practicing again as I type).

  5. Andy says:

Oh, and she’s 6. I’ll post another video with all 3 soon.
